How to sum up this book & my reaction to it??? Hmmmm .....

Seriously, how can you not flove a Scott Holdreth book?? This book doesn't disappoint at all. It is filled with love. laughs, and an uber schmexy alpha man!!

Tripp is a man that is making a good living for himself after being in the military for years. He is now running a company and employs other former military men. His business isn't the typical business ..... he buys guns and sells them to those that he feels are going to use the guns to right a wrong. Tripp is a man that has strict rules for his life and doesn't do relationships.

Terra is a young woman that has been sheltered her entire life. She is the quintessential Mafia princess who dates only Italians that her father won't have a problem with. Holy crap this was INTENSE to read this final chapter of their story!!

Anna isn't willing to just fall over and be a whipping post for those that have made the mistake of taking her away from her family. At the same time, Nic is determined to get his woman back where she belongs.

These two people are meant for each other. They are both willing to fight to the death to protect those that they love. Yet at the same time, they refuse to let those around them use their power, position, or who they are against those that are less fortunate, weaker, or need to be protected. That being said, they are willing to do most anything to protect their family.

This was an amazing wrap up of this amazing couple. While I can't say that I know anyone like them, I did find myself falling for their amazing love for each other. The support and undying love that Anna has for Nic, his precocious daughter and his love for her unique parents is amazing!!

Damn, the girl was fast. But Nic was just as quick, because I found myself lifted off my feet, carried into the house, and placed onto the couch in the living room, in what felt like the blink of an eye.

He sat down next to me, leaning over, his face close to mine. "We need to talk." I pushed against his chest, trying to get out from under him, my mind a jumbled mess after everything I'd just heard. What I'd just learned about him. My Nic was a mobster. It was almost impossible to believe. He was into bad stuff, illegal stuff. Things about which I had zero clue because he'd kept me in the dark.

"We'll talk," he promised, his hand sliding under my robe and up my inner thigh. "After."
