This is a modern romance story that is a must read for every romance reader!!

This is a romance novel that is enticing while having twists and turns as well. The story is told from Emma’s POV, which makes it almost seem like she is there, telling you her story.

Emma is a single mom who works as the housekeeper and PA for Jack. She has struggled for years to make it on her own and is still so very strong! “He not only loved me, but he loves Logan. That alone was more powerful and emotional then anything he could have just said to me.”

Logan is her son, who is precious and you can’t help but love this all boy who is Emma’s “most important little boy”

Jack is the love interest as well as Emma’s boss. He is rich, and is a true Uber Alpha Male!

“He possessed power and control at every single moment I saw him.”
“Tanned and toned to perfection, his lean muscles rippled with every move.”

Overall this book drew me in and held me enthralled from the beginning to the end. There were times I found myself laughing at the happenings, and then there were the times I was crying so hard I could no longer see the words. “It was us. Messy and wild and I wouldn't have it any other way.” This is the story of a true family who love each other as they are, accept each other, and only want the very best for everyone.

"Midnight Caller" by N.J. Cole

Midnight Caller

Rating – 5 Stars!!
Cover – 4 Stars Love the eyes!
WOW Factor - 4.5 stars
Steam Factor – 5 stars
Ending – 3 (hoping there will be more for this story)

This is a hot, super steamy book from start to finish! Started off as a BDSM book, and draws you in from the start. The story is told primarly from the POV of Rebecca (butterfly or Bec) or Oliver (Sir or Ollie). There are also POV from several of the other supporting characters in the book.

Loved the way the story starts with the only real interaction being a brief phone call “That was beautiful, butterfly.” It just made me want more and more until I was begging for there to be some sort of physical interaction between these two characters. While there is a hidden twist to this book, it only makes me want more.

Bec is quiet, shy, and a homebody. She doesn’t want to rock the boat, and cause issues. When she realizes she needs to submit to her Sir, she finally realizes who she is.

“I didn’t understand why, but I really wanted to please him, my Sir.”

Oliver is commanding, and all alpha male. He is used to getting exactly what he wants, and is always in charge.  “You are such a good girl, butterfly. From now on, when I call you have permission to speak. So, did you miss me?”

Overall this book drew me in and held on to me from start to finish. My fave parts are when we see Shane interacting with Oliver and Bec, and watching Shane teasing them. It was a typical brother interaction, and yet made me want to reach out and smack him upside the head and tell him to be nice. Personally I am waiting for more from this author and this book. I can only hope for more from these characters.
