Sophia and Kayden are not the typical couple. They are both dealing with all the complications, pain and heartache that they have been dealt, as well as trying to find that person that can help them pick up the pieces and move on and forward with their lives.
Sophie escapes her life through her books, and falls for each of her book boyfriends. However in her real life, she isn’t doing so well with men. All she wants is someone to love her, support her, and be with her forever. She would love to have the HEA that she reads about in her books.
Kayden has had his fair share of relationships, not all of them were good, and not all ended well. Kayden has demons that he has to deal with, and hopes they won’t take over everything and ruin the rest of his life. When he “meets” Sophia online and messages her, he never expects it to go the way it does.
When they finally meet face to face, their meeting is explosive. The passion that they have is undeniable. When they come together, their passion explodes and ties them together. Even far apart, they are still tied together. When things start to unravel for these two, they support each other and do what they have to do to stay strong. Kayden takes Sophia to meet his family and Sophia has Kayden meet her best friend.
When things get really bad, Kayden leaves New Orleans and goes with Sophie to Florida. There they start to pick up the pieces of their lives and move forward. There are hurdles that have to be jumped, and some are worse than others. Will these two wounded souls get the HEA like in Sophies books?
