This was a great book filled with magic and romance.

Max & Victoria don't have a typical relationship and romance. There is a lot of suspense and pain. Victoria is working had to get past the pain from her partners death that took place previously.

When things start to get difficult, can these two have a lot to get past everything and stay together?

Max and Victoria must work together to heal each other, as well as work together to get rid of the darkness that is threatening their lives together. When they finally confront the darkness that took Victoria's past love from her, it ends up taking Victoria as well.

Max will do anything to get his soul mate Victoria back, including what is forbidden. However that has its own risks, and causes more problems for this couple. With the new threat attacking them, Victoria and Max must trust each other, and not allow the darkness to take over.
