This is an amazing story about a young man that has been spoiled his whole life until he makes a mistake that is the final straw with his father. Lucas is then given the ultimatum, stay with the man he craves or lose his fathers money (yeah a tough decision it seems).

Jared however is a self made man, a farmer who has a quiet life. However when Lucas takes his heart, he must decide how much of himself is going to hand to this man that could end up tearing his heart out.

Listening to this audio book though, brought the story to life in a whole new way for me. His voice was soothing, and yet just pulled me in and held me hostage for the story. If you love audio books, this is a great one to get. I loved this to death, and am hoping for more, both from the amazing author as well as the narrator.

Cardeno C. - CC to friends - is a hopeless romantic who wants to add a lot of happiness and a few "awwws" into a reader's day. Writing is a nice break from real life as a corporate type and volunteer work with gay rights organizations. Cardeno's stories range from sweet to intense, contemporary to paranormal, long to short, but they always include strong relationships and walks into the happily-ever-after sunset.
