This is the second book in this series. We pick up with Raine, Liam & Hammer where the first book left off. Raine & Liam come back to the club and it is right before Thanksgiving. However Liam has set up rules for Raine and any interaction with Hammer.
Hammer is pushing Liam's rules and interacting with Raine more than he is "supposed" to. He is still drawn to this amazingly fragile (yet very strong) young woman. Hammer however is still trying to take care of this young woman when he realizes that she hasn't been completely open with everything in her past.
Liam is trying to care for his fragile submissive while close to his best friend whom she has feelings for. He is getting frustrated with her lack of full disclosure about her feelings and her needs. Liam is hopeful that she will be fully honest and open with him, finally fully offering her submission to him.
Raine is struggling with being honest and open about her feelings. This is due to her past that is still crippling her with moving forward with her men. She is hiding things about her health, her feelings, and pushing the boundaries that were set by her Dom. All in all, Raine is being a total brat and not at all fully submissive.
The question becomes, can Liam get her top open up before he gives up? Will Hammer be able to do what is her best interests? Will Raine finally be able to be fully open about her past, allowing her to truly submit?
